Equipment and Lab Use

The photography area is happy to provide some equipment for photo student checkout during the semester. We have an array of offsite use digital cameras and lenses, tripods, 35mm film cameras, 4×5 film cameras, and strobes, and other equipment for use onsite only such as darkroom equipment, backdrops and backdrop stand kits, and other studio accessories.

Equipment Checkout System Updates:

We have transitioned to a new local only checkout system.
– Renewals are no longer available. You must bring the equipment back to the lab window after one week.
– All equipment borrowing rules remain the same as previous semesters.
– You instructor can provide up to date information on how you can access equipment.

Access

You must be a photography student enrolled in the current semester to be eligible to rent equipment.

Students may use the facilities during the open hours posted. After hours access is limited to Lab Monitors, photo graduate students, staff, and faculty. Interested in becoming a lab monitor? See if you qualify and apply here:
